Walk Lakefront Trail Whitby Meet and park at 6:45pm in the parking lot at the end of Thickson Rd S or Hwy 401. Walking west.

Bike Ride to Lakeview Park All paved streets and trail Meet at 5:45 in the parking lot behind Northview Community Centre, or the library at the corner of Beatrice and Ritson leaves at 6:00.  Bike along quiet streets and then on to the bike path down to Lakeview Park. Return through quiet downtown streets of Oshawa, Michael Starr trail and old rail trial to return to Northview.  Ice cream at the Lake if time permits.

Combo Whitby Waterfront & Neighbourhood Walk. Meet & park @ 6:45 p.m. at the bottom of Gordon St in Whitby. Turn south off Victoria St (Baseline Rd) onto Gordon St (east of Whitby Psychiatric Hospital). Refreshments afterwards at the Whitby Yacht Club.

Bike Ride Ajax Rotary Park Meet at 5:45 at the Ajax Rotary Park and ride north to Pickering Village. Ride through trail and subdivision and return. Leave at 6:00 Road & trail

Combo Walk Oshawa Rail Trail And Area Meet & park at 6:45pm at St Joseph's Church parking lot behind church on the SW corner of Beatrice St and Mary St. N. (E of Simcoe St and S of Taunton Rd).  Sturdy footwear.

Oshawa Walk Stone Street and Pump house Marsh Meet and park at 6:45 in the parking lot of the South Oshawa Community Centre. Go S on Simcoe to Wentworth, W on Wentworth to Cedar, S on Cedar past Phillip Murray – On the left. Wear sturdy footwear.
 

Whitby West Walk Meet and park at Mac’s Variety Plaza, 900 Bonacord Ave in Whitby at 6.45 pm. From Cochrane St, go west on Bonacord to McQuay Blvd. From Dundas St, go north on McQuay to Bonacord Ave. The plaza is on the NE corner of Bonacord and McQuay.

Nosey Neighbourhood Walk In Oshawa Meet and park at 6:45 in the 5 Points Mall (Ritson and Taunton) in front of Value Village. Walk around neighbourhood and on Oshawa Trail

 Bike Ride Uxbridge Run Meet at 5:45 at the Church parking lot just north of Utica, at the corner of Marsh Hill Road and County Rd 21. From Whitby, take Hwy 12 North to Manchester. Turn West onto County Rd 21 to Utica, Marsh Hill Rd turn right to church. The Church is on the right.  Ride to Uxbridge and return. leave at 6:00 paved road
 

Festival of Lights in Peterborough Join Roy and Diane for a picnic supper at 6pm in Roger’s Cove park (Maria St.) on Little Lake. After supper we’ll do a short walk over to Del Crary Park with our lawn chairs to hear ‘Davy Jones’ from the TV Show the Monkeys. Program starts at 8 p.m.

Hike Kerncliff Park to Waterdown Loop approx. 11km. Meet at 10:00am, at Kerncliff Park on the east side of Kerns Rd, south of HWY 5. Map 9. We will do a loop hike to Waterdown and back using the McNally Side trail.  Bring water and a lunch. Moderate- 5. Some hills and rocky sections. Optional refreshment stop afterwards.

 Hike Enniskillen Cons Area Meet at 6:30pm at Jeanne's place (95 Perry Ave. Hampton) to carpool or at 6:45pm at the south entrance of Enniskillen Park (accessible from Concession Rd # 7 only, 7274 Holt Road) for start of hike. Afterwards Enniskillen Store for Ice cream (did anybody doubt it?)

Bike from Peterborough To Lakefield For Lunch, Then Return  Flat terrain, approximately 40 km. Meet at 9:45 a.m., to leave at 10 a.m. from Roger’s Cove park (Maria St.) on Little Lake. We expect to be back in Peterborough around 3-3:30pm

Doors Open – Ajax Meet at 8:30am at Eggs Crepes - 250 Bayly St. W. Ajax (Between McDonald's and Dairy Queen).  Bring lunch and be prepared to carpool. 

Loop Hike In The Ganaraska Forest to Tower Hill Leave at 10:00am, ORTA Map 8, 8+km, 2+hrs, at a moderate pace, including breaks. From Hwy. 115, exit at Boundary Road (first exit north of Hwy35 exit), go east approx.1.5km, to Micro Rd. Roadside parking, dress for the weather and bring water and lunch.

Hike The Ganaraska Hiking Trail  Wilderness Section, from Moore Falls to Devils Lake. 18 Challenging kms. Meet at Devils Lake parking lot at 9:00am and shuttle to the start of the hike at Moore Falls.  Peterborough people will meet at Portage Place Mall in front of Rexall Drugstore for a 7:30am departure (be there about 10 minutes earlier). Oshawa area people can meet in front of Value Village in the 5 Points Mall (S. E. corner of Taunton & Ritson Rd.) for a 7:00am departure 

Directions: Take Hwy 35 about 65kms north of Lindsay to Moore Falls, turn left on Deep Bay Rd and follow it for about 5kms to Devils Lake Rd, turn left and go ½ km to the parking lot. Bring a lunch, snacks and lots of water (2 litres or so) Good hiking boots or shoes are recommended

Balsam Lake Provincial Park - Car Camp Canoe/Bike/Hike Beautiful Balsam Lake. Enjoy the beautiful Kawartha's, just a few kilometers southwest of Coboconk. Our 4 sites are currently full.  We can put you on a waiting list or if you are interested in joining us for the week end you can call the Park directly at; 1-877-234-4343 and reserve a site close to the group. Campground Name: Lakeshore South - our sites are 110 - 111 - 112 and 113, these are non electrical sites. Call if you have any further questions or concerns.
